This will show up if the car has previously used the same template. We&#8217;ve made it very simple to use, and hopefully, this will put an end to having to leave the inspection to see previous recommendations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When the Tech is inspecting a car that has a history, there is a new column that shows up to the left of the task description, and it is slightly grayed out:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"716\" height=\"314\" src=\"\/about\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/previous.jpg\" alt=\"Previous inspection indicator icon in DVI checklist\" class=\"wp-image-1828\" srcset=\"\/about\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/previous.jpg 716w, \/about\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/previous-300x132.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 716px) 100vw, 716px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you hover over the icon, you will see the previous recommendation, which shows the result of the last inspection.
