A Tech checking to see if any dash lights are on may see a TPMS or SRS lamp on and simply enter the text &#8220;SRS&#8221; in the notes on the checklist. If this is sent to the customer, they may think that it&#8217;s no big deal, as that light has been on for 2 years. What they don&#8217;t realize is that it&#8217;s related to the airbag system, and the system has been deactivated since the light came on. If the Service Advisor doesn&#8217;t let the customer know the severity of the issue (no airbags will be deployed during an accident), the customer just thinks it&#8217;s a light and doesn&#8217;t worry about it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fortunately, in our Digital Inspection program, we&#8217;ve included the use of ChatGPT and the AI power to take that simple text of &#8220;SRS light is on&#8221; and change it into something like this:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"839\" height=\"362\" src=\"\/about\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image.png\" alt=\"This image shows the use of our AI-enhanced explanation that changes a simple &quot;SRS Light is on&quot; into a full explanation to the customer pointing out that the air bags have been disabled and will not deploy during an accident\" class=\"wp-image-1597\" srcset=\"\/about\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image.png 839w, \/about\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-300x129.png 300w, \/about\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-768x331.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 839px) 100vw, 839px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br>One press of the AI button creates a well-written, complete overview of the problem in an easy-to-understand write-up. This changes a customer&#8217;s reaction from &#8220;Oh, that light&#8217;s been on for years&#8221; to &#8220;Oh wow, I had no idea. We&#8217;d better get a look at that.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you press the AI button, the text offered as an option is editable right in the text box. If you don&#8217;t like it, press the button again to get a new recommendation.
