DVI – Deleting an Inspection

In most cases, we don’t allow you to delete an inspection. There is no reason to delete them, as we should hold on to them for record keeping. You never know when you’ll need it.

If you find that you have a duplicate or really need to clean up your account, you can delete an unused inspection. It must say “New” in the status column. Once any data has been entered, you must contact us to delete it.

If you have an inspection that was used to test the system or was done by mistake, we can remove it for you. Just use the “Help” button on the lower right of your screen. Make sure you let us know which inspection to delete. If it’s a duplicate of another RO, please let us know which one needs to be removed.
